Alexandre is the founder of French with Alexcellence, based in Soissons, France, about 100 km northeast of Paris.
He holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and is passionate about creating meaningful connections through language.
In January 2024, he began teaching French to a small circle of friends. What started as a hobby quickly grew into a full-time vocation. By September of that same year, he launched the Club de Conversation, a global space where francophiles can practice French in a friendly, relaxed environment.
As a teacher, he listens carefully to his students and adapts lesson materials to their individual needs, ensuring each learner progresses with confidence and enjoyment.
Azusa is a member of the French with Alexcellence team. Originally from Saitama, Japan, she now lives in Paris, where she teaches French and Japanese.
She holds a DALF C2 certification (earned in September 2016) and a Futsuken “DAPF” 1kyu (earned in March 2014), which reflect her deep mastery of the French language.
As a teacher, Azusa is dedicated to breaking down French words through etymological analysis, helping her students understand and remember vocabulary more effectively. Aware that certain aspects of French can be particularly challenging for Japanese learners, she highlights these difficulties by comparing them with Japanese (and English when helpful, since English is commonly studied in Japan.)
She also works in French-Japanese translation and has extensive experience in the study of literary expression. Her goal is to convey the richness of the linguistic world in a thorough yet accessible way!
Romane is part of the French with Alexcellence team. Originally from Lille, France, she is now based in Sofia, Bulgaria.
She holds both the DAEFLE (Diploma to teach French as Foreign language) and TEFL certification (Teaching English as Foreign Language). She is also a certified DELF/DALF examiner.
With over five years of experience in the field of French as a foreign language, Romane has worked with institutions such as the French Institute of Bulgaria, the French Institute of Hungary, and the American College of Sofia.
As a multilingual teacher, she deeply understands the challenges learners face and designs lessons fully tailored to each student’s goals and needs. She founded Fluench! with this specific idea in mind.
Alongside teaching, she oversees the visual identity of French with Alexcellence, bringing creativity and coherence to the team’s online presence. She's sometimes co-animating the Club de Conversation on Saturday.
